Recent troubles with del.icio.us (a social bookmark site) made me think about alternatives. Interesting enough, these hiccups (as they say it) started after Yahoo! bought them, which puts another spot to the matter.

Not knowing about it, I ran into de.lirio.us, which has the same functionality (although without fancy AJAX code), but with one significant difference: the whole code is free software, and anyone is free to take the code and work upon it.

I switched immediatly. You can see my bookmarks here. I invite everyone to join. Life is what you make of it.

Looks like I found a minor bug in digg.com. Maybe it isn't, but sure seems like it. Check this screenshot:



I dugg a story, and then it had 0 diggs. Apparently, every story I digg gets 0 diggs. Things get back to normal when I refresh a page, but that's not the point of AJAX.
